Campaign Brief

The campaign brief is a Markdown document at the heart of every campaign. It describes the campaign goals, target audience, products, and content requirements. The brief drives creator discovery in Creator Radar -- helping the AI generate better search queries and match more relevant creators to your campaign.

Writing your brief

You have full flexibility in how you create and maintain your brief:

  • Let AI generate it -- Add source materials and click Re-analyze. The AI reads all sources and produces a structured Markdown brief.
  • Write it yourself -- Edit the Markdown directly in the built-in editor on the campaign Overview tab.
  • Combine both -- Start with an AI-generated draft, then refine it manually.

The brief editor supports standard Markdown formatting: headings, lists, bold, links, etc.

Source materials

To help the AI generate or update your brief, you can add up to 20 source materials. Supported formats:

FormatNotes
URLA link to a product page, brand website, or online brief. The AI fetches and analyzes the page content. Works best with public pages.
PDFUploaded PDF document. Max 10 MB. Multi-page documents are supported.
ImageUploaded JPG, PNG, GIF, or WebP. Max 10 MB. The AI uses vision to extract information from images.
TextPlain text entered directly. Best for quick notes or supplementary context.

TIP

For best results, provide a mix of sources -- for example, your product page URL plus a PDF with brand guidelines. The AI combines insights from all sources into a single cohesive brief.

AI brief generation

When you click Re-analyze, the AI:

  1. Reads all attached source materials.
  2. Produces a structured Markdown brief covering product details, target audience, messaging, content requirements, and more.
  3. Displays the result in the editor for you to review and edit before saving.

You can optionally provide instructions for AI (e.g. "Focus on Gen Z audience", "Keep it short and punchy") to guide the generation.

WARNING

Re-analyzing replaces the current brief content after you save. If you want to keep your existing edits, copy them before re-analyzing.

How the brief is used

Once your brief is saved, it powers key features across the platform:

  • Creator Radar -- When you search for creators from within the campaign, the brief is used to generate search queries, improve relevance, and match creators to your campaign goals. This is the primary use of the brief.
  • Attribution keywords -- AI can suggest attribution keywords derived from the products and brand names mentioned in the brief.

Adding sources to an existing campaign

  1. Open the campaign and go to the Overview tab.
  2. In the Campaign Brief section, click Upload Files or add a URL.
  3. The source is attached to the campaign. Click Re-analyze when you want the AI to regenerate the brief from all sources.
