Campaign Collaboration
Ace Influence allows you to invite team members to collaborate on a campaign. This page explains how collaboration works, what collaborators can and cannot do, and important privacy boundaries.
Overview
By default, campaigns are personal — only the person who created a campaign can edit it. With Campaign Collaboration, you can invite other members of your organization to help manage a campaign together.
Key concept
Collaboration grants access to campaign-level editing only — it does not give access to your private emails, offers, or other personal resources.
Inviting collaborators
To invite a team member to collaborate on your campaign:
- Open the campaign you own.
- In the Overview tab, find the Collaborators section.
- Click Invite Collaborator.
- Search for the team member by name or email.
- Select the person and confirm.
The invited person will immediately gain collaboration access. Both the campaign owner and existing collaborators can invite additional team members.
INFO
Only members of your organization can be invited as collaborators. You cannot invite people outside your organization.

What collaborators cannot do
Campaign collaboration has clear boundaries to protect your privacy and data:
- Cannot access your emails — Email threads and inbox messages are always private. Collaborators cannot see your email conversations, even if they relate to the same campaign.
- Cannot manage your offers — Each offer belongs to the person who created it. A collaborator can view your offers in read-only mode, but cannot edit amounts, change status, or add notes.
- Cannot manage other people's bulk send tasks — Only the task creator or the campaign owner can pause, resume, or cancel a bulk send task.
- Cannot archive or delete the campaign — Only the campaign owner can perform these actions.
How resources work within a collaboration
When multiple people collaborate on a campaign, each person's resources remain individually owned:
Offers (Collaborations)
- Each offer belongs to the person who created it (or was auto-created for them).
- All campaign members can view all offers within the campaign.
- Only the offer owner can edit the offer (change status, update amount, add notes, manage deliveries).
Bulk send tasks
- Each bulk send task belongs to the person who created it.
- All campaign members can view all bulk send tasks within the campaign.
- The task creator and the campaign owner can manage it (pause, resume, cancel).
- Collaborators can only manage tasks they created themselves.
Content attribution
- Attribution management follows the offer owner, not the campaign owner.
- The person whose offer is associated with an attribution is the one who can confirm or reject it.
Email threads
- Email conversations are strictly private — they are never shared, regardless of campaign collaboration.
Viewing campaigns
The campaign list includes a filter to help you find campaigns:
- Mine (default) — Shows campaigns you own plus campaigns where you are a collaborator.
- Other team members — Shows campaigns owned by other people in your organization.
When viewing another team member's campaign (that you're not a collaborator on), you see it in read-only mode — some sensitive information like budget may be hidden.
Leaving a collaboration
If you no longer want to collaborate on a campaign:
- Open the campaign.
- In the Collaborators section, click Remove next to your own name.
Leaving a collaboration does not affect any resources you created within that campaign. Your offers, bulk send tasks, and other resources remain yours and continue to appear in your personal lists.
Removing a collaborator
Campaign owners can remove any collaborator:
- Open the campaign.
- In the Collaborators section, click Remove next to the person you want to remove.
The removed person will no longer be able to edit the campaign, but any resources they created within the campaign remain theirs.
Privacy summary
| Data type | Shared with collaborators? |
|---|---|
| Campaign details (name, brief, budget, etc.) | Yes |
| Offers within the campaign | View only (read-only) |
| Bulk send tasks within the campaign | View only (read-only) |
| Content attribution | View only (managed by offer owner) |
| Email conversations | Never shared |
| Personal notes on offers | Never shared |
| Shipping addresses | Never shared |
Important
Campaign collaboration does not override individual data ownership. Every resource (offer, task, email) always belongs to the person who created it. However, campaign owners have elevated management rights over bulk send tasks within their campaign (pause, resume, cancel).
